Description
Norton Commando 850 MKIII Interstate 1976
Matching numbers and original apart for stainless headlamp brackets, peashooter silencers and Boyer Mk3 electronic ignition
I bought this Commando in 1992 from a local guy who had it restored. I’ve only done about 600 miles on it since then as work and house renovations have taken priority. MOTs available to verify mileage.
Dry stored since its last MOT in 2020. As it’s over 40 years old it doesn’t need MOTs but I decided to have one done to prove it was roadworthy.
Started and warmed up regularly since then.

New master cylinder seals, brake caliper pistons and seals by local specialist
New Avon Road-riders tyres
New starter motor armature from RGM and the starter spins the engine very well.
Receipts available to verify work done
Starts on the button and runs well.
Workshop Manual, Norton Riders Manual and Norton Owners Club Commando Service Notes included.
