A delivery lorry backed into the front of the car on 03-Oct-2025, while it was parked outside our home, breaking one of the headlights and pushing the front panel in a bit. Car has not been started since then. It will need some repair to the front panel and radiator crossbar, and a new headlight. Before the accident, the Micra ran just fine, no issues. We have used it for the past 13 years without any major problems, and were planning to keep it for a few more years.

The delivery driver’s insurance has deemed it a Cat. N (non-structural damage). They didn’t want to pay to repair it, so it is now for sale if someone wants to fix it and give it a new home. We think it’s worth repairing for someone to get more use out of it, instead of just scrapping it, or it could also be used for parts. It has some paint fading on one side, and some minor scratches and light dents, but otherwise it is in good condition for its age. Please see photos (more photos are available).
