šø **BLUES / ALT-ROCK GUITARIST WANTED ā EDINBURGH**
Singer/songwriter looking for a guitarist to **write and create original music together**.
Iām a female vocalist/producer working across **dark blues, alternative rock, post-punk and electronic music**, and Iām looking to explore the heavier, rawer side of my sound with a guitarist.
Influences/vibe: **PJ Harvey ā¢ The Kills ā¢ Nick Cave ā¢ Howlinā Wolf ā¢ Lead Belly ā¢ Siouxsie ā¢ Joy Division ā¢ Chvrches ā¢ electronic/techno textures**
Iām particularly interested in someone who loves **dirty blues riffs, unusual sounds, atmosphere and experimentation** ā not necessarily flashy playing. Feel, ideas and chemistry matter more.
The aim is to:
ā¢ jam and write original songs
ā¢ develop demos into finished tracks
ā¢ combine raw guitar/vocals with electronic production
ā¢ potentially record, release and play live
Iām Edinburgh-based and already writing/releasing my own music. Looking for someone creative, reliable and up for seeing what happens rather than jumping straight into a conventional covers band.
