Description
Raleigh Nitro steel mountain bike
Classic 1990s steel frame mountain bike in good used condition.
Tastefully upgraded from the original specification and now set up as a simple and reliable 1x drivetrain.
Upgrades include:
Shimano Deore XT crankset fitted with a single chainring
Selle Italia Flite saddle
High-rise silver quill stem and handlebar setup for a comfortable upright riding position
Oury grips
Original steel frame and rigid mountain bike character
A great retro MTB, commuter, pub bike or bikepacking project.
General age-related marks as expected for a bike of this age, but presents very well and rides nicely.
For reference, the bike is currently set up for me at 183cm tall.
I’d estimate it would comfortably suit riders roughly between 170cm and 185cm. Shorter riders may also be fine depending on preference.
