Moto Morini 350 (3 1/2)

Description

1982 Morini 3 ½ Strada, fitted with the S engine, currently fitted with Busso non OE silencers but sound lovely. I do have a pair of OE silencers that will come with the bike, which are in sound condition but will need re painting.

Paintwork on tank, panels and frame is pretty good with no large blemishes or chips.

New air filters, cam belt and oil change (Motul 3000 20/50) January 2025, and new oil seals fitted in the OE Marzocchi shocks in June last year.

Showing 65000 Km, no idea if this is genuine or not. I have fitted a small GPS speedo as the speedo is in KMH and not MPH. It also has some handlebar risers fitted as I find the stock position too low.

Has a small oil weep on the underside of the crankcase, but amounts to less than a teaspoon after a run of 40 miles or so, it only weeps out when the engine is hot. One of the fork legs also has a slight leak on the seal – I just keep wiping it off every now and then.

I have removed the electric starter as it will only sometimes start on the electric starter despite a new battery in 2025. It will of course come with the starter and associated parts, could be that the motor / starter gearbox needs an overhaul. Starts easily enough on the kicker.

Currently has a Triumph T595 front master cylinder fitted which makes the brakes a little more progressive, the OE Grimeca cylinder will come with the bike.

It now has larger indicators fitted than in the pictures, also double mirrors.

There are a few spares included which came to me when I bought the bike, also a flywheel puller, and flywheel holding tool, and the original Morini Handlebar grips which I find too hard. I will also include a book named “Moto Morini 3 ½ & 500 Performance Portfolio 1974 – 1984” which is a collection of road tests / specs etc.

Also have a few old MOTs & receipts

The Avon Roadrider tyres have plenty of wear left in them.

Reason for selling is that I just cannot get along with the RH gearchange.
