This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at Shuttleworth 2026 on Sunday the 19th of April, Shuttleworth, Old Warden Park, Beds, SG18 9EP . , Designed by the renowned Lino Tonti, the 490cc V50 featured two valves per cylinder with the combustion chamber inside the piston, in the heron-head style of Moto Morini's famous 350cc twin ,The V50 MkII was introduced in 1979 and differed principally from the original by virtue of its larger oil capacity, more refined gearbox and upgraded electricals,Finished in a light metallic blue, this example shows just 3,541 miles supported by its MOT history back to 2006 (September 2006 at 2,123 miles to July 2021 at 2,780 miles)  ,The most recent MOT test was carried out on 06/09/2025 at 3,383 miles, with an expiry date of 05/09/2026 (though because of its age this motorcycle now qualifies for the DVLA's MOT exemption) ,Our vendor described the bike as 'running' although will require light recommissioning prior to road use,Supplied with MOT Certificates and a current V5C correctly classed as Historic,A great opportunity to buy an original V50 in very original order offered without reserve,
