Single Adjustable Bed for people who are bed-bound - used for 8 days only -£470

Description

Excellent for those needing bed care in the home. Manufactured in April 2024 and stored after minimal usage. Pick up from the Martins Heron/Bracknell/Winkfield area, Berkshire (RG12). Bed is in four parts. The mattress platform section has optimal dimensions designed in accordance with anthroprometric statistics and has been pressure mapped during the design process. It can absolutely be used and work perfectly without side rails and this advertised bed has no side rails and no mattress. The picture showing side rails is to demonstrate the final look if bed rails and their sliders are purchased separately from Invacare. The framework relies on independent actuators built directly under the headrest and leg sections which move and or angle the mattress support according to requirements using a hand held control.

The Medley Ergo offers:

Increased comfort when sitting
Reduced shear and friction from sliding downwards during profiling
Suitability for shorter clients
Height adjustments for clients safety and accessibility and to assist carers.

The flexible design allows the bed to be mounted at a low height, or a higher position if preferred creating a range of working heights for the carer and transfer heights for the client. The height can be set to a standard hi-lo range (40-80cm) or a lower, safer hi-lo range (33 to 73 cm). This is facilitated by the unique feature of the bed end, which enables the mattress support to be mounted both in upper and lower positions. You can readily purchase from Invacare compatible full-length side rails and support grab handles (should you require them) that are designed specifically to bolt onto or slide directly into the 2024 Invacare Medley Ergo frame.
