Description
Monarch Mobility Mojo lit auto-folding mobility scooter in blue, great nearly newcondition.
Only 2 years old and minimal use - a few hours once or twice a month.
Stored indoors and well maintained.
A few scuffs from normal usage - feet on foot plate and axel cover underneath from a few large curbs.
Batteries still in as new condition and well maintained.
Removable easily for off board charging - docking station included (bought as an extra)
Two keys and remotes.
Mojo lit arm rest bag.
Able2 backrest slip over bag.
Waterproof tiller cover.
Battery flight safe bag.
Best features from my experience:
Fits in the boot of a hatchback with room to spare
Allowed on buses and trains and trams as fits into the small size category
Folds up for storage and batteries can be removed for charging with the Dock, great if you need to go up stairs or want to leave the scooter in the hallway/front room/car to do this.
Perfect for shopping trips and museums - will reach 4mph on smooth surfaces. Fits easily into lifts (I had the reversing beeper switched off by an engineer for this reason because its really loud in small spaces!)
Also handles pavements, parks and short grass really well - I used it for a number of Kew Gardens visits and was great on the hills in Edinburgh.
Things I struggled with:
It's a bit too heavy for me to lift it on a bad day so sometimes I wasn't able to use it if I didn't have someone to help lift it for me. I have found though in busy places there is nearly always someone in the car park who has spare muscles and is happy to help if you ask. I have put yellow tape on the safe places to lift the scooter to make it easy for other people to help with this. The tape can easily be removed if you want.
It was a bit too slow for me on rougher surfaces like concrete paths so I had to leave extra time for some trips. Although it was still faster than me being able to walk it myself.
Please do message me with any questions, I will be happy to help you. I appreciate there are so many things to think about when purchasing a mobility aid and sometimes we don't find the answer until we use one.
I highly recommend visiting somewhere you can try out different equipment before purchasing. Many museums, national trust and Kew Gardens have mobility scooters free to hire for the day. Mobility shows like Naidex allow you to try out all kinds of equipment and many larger mobility showrooms have space and varied stick for you to try out and see what works best.
I have listed as collection only because items containing batteries require special delivery. I'm happy for you to organise special delivery yourself if you are unable to collect.
I can arrange collection from Wallington, Tolworth or Hampton as I work in these areas regularly.
I can't meet or deliver within the ULEZ zone.
