A stunning, heavy vintage mid-century modern shield-shaped mirror with beautiful Scandinavian-inspired lines and warm wood tones.

Measuring 61cm x 41cm.

This piece has been lovingly restored. The original thick, artificially glossy polyurethane factory lacquer has been fully stripped back and hand-treated with multiple coats of premium Danish oil, nourishing the solid teak frame to bring out a tactile, matte-to-satin natural wood grain.

Premium Glass Condition (Thicker Than Most Danish Imports). Zero Foxing: The silvering on the rear is near immaculate. No black spots, clouds, hazing, or age-related degradation

Retains its coveted, original "Scintilite — Finest Plate Glass Guaranteed 5 Years" gold-and-blue foil label on the rear.

Flawless Reflection: Heavy-duty, high-purity vintage plate glass offering a crisp, distortion-free reflection that is far superior to modern budget mirrors.

The Emerald Edge: When viewed from the side profile, the glass displays a beautiful, distinct emerald green tinge. This is the classic hallmark of high-purity, heavy-gauge vintage float glass caused by naturally occurring trace iron compounds during mid-century production..

It retains its original, sturdy vintage folding metal hanging loops. With three built-in attachment points, it is fully ready to be wired and hung securely in either portrait or landscape layout to fit your space perfectly.

Removing the polystyrene has revealed three tint spots of manufacturer applied filler. I have tried to show these in photos. In no way distracts.
