I’ve owned the Mini for 6 years and has been a great car. Engine is very punchy an is a great drive on the motorway. It’s a second car in the house and since COVID hasn’t been used a great deal. My son is now learning and he has his own car so no need for 3 cars. It has plenty of service history and while I owned it I had it serviced each year when MOTd. I put the 17” alloys on after I bought the car and they are still in excellent condition.

Tyres are also good and the front 2 were replaced for the MOT last year. It has the Mini entertainment system with sat nav and Bluetooth connection. MOTd until September. As it’s the Cooper it has the start/stop button and there is only one key. It’s generally in good condition for a 14 year old car. Cheap to run, good MPG and tax is £20 a year. Anyone looking for a car to use travelling into Glasgow should note as it’s a diesel and given its age, it is not LEZ compliant.

Work done in the past 12 months:

• New rear disks, pads and callipers
• New front tyres
• New clutch and slave cylinder
• New driver side front suspension spring

Bad bits:

• It has a small crack and scratch on the rear bumper. There’s a picture of it.
• There’s a small dent in the passenger side. It’s about the size of a 5p. There’s also a picture of it.
• There are a few stone chip and scuffs
• There’s been an advisory on the MOT for the past 3 or 4 years regarding the sub frame. It’s obviously checked each year when MOTd. Apparently there’s a small hole but it isn’t affecting the integrity of the sub frame. Some welding will be required at some time in the future. I was quoted £100-£150 for this a few months back.

Car is at my home address in Milngavie, the same address that’s been on the log book since I bought it.
