2007 MINI Cooper Convertible - Red - MOT - Project/Fixer-Upper - £950

We're selling our much-loved red 2007 MINI Cooper Convertible after many years of enjoyment.

It's done approximately 124,500 miles and passed its MOT in July.

The electric convertible roof works well, the bodywork is generally good for its age with no dents, and it has relatively new Pirelli tyres.
It's a great-looking little car and we would really like it to go to someone who enjoys MINIs and is happy to give it some TLC.

We're being completely upfront that it does need work, which is reflected in the price. Known issues are:
Power steering - intermittent, from AOK to sometimes heavy
Driver's electric window is stuck closed
Boot release isn't working from the outside, although it can be opened manually from inside the car
Remote/electronic key isn't working, but the car can be unlocked manually
Rear drivers wheel making light noise - prob brake pads and/or callipers required
Paint lacquer has peeled on the bonnet

On the plus side:
MOT passed in July
Convertible roof works properly and in good condition
Good bodywork for its age with no significant dents
Relatively new Pirelli tyres
Running car

We've decided not to keep spending money on repairs given its age, but it seems a real shame to scrap it. We think it would be a good project for a MINI enthusiast or someone who is able to do the work themselves.

£950, open to sensible offers.
