The MG has been used as wedding vehicle and obviously has been kept super clean and extremely well maintained (see video for a list of new parts and work carried out to get her up this high standard). The car drives ever so well and is ready to enjoy and take to the road for maximum driving pleasure.

This is a particularly lovely example of the much adored MG Magnette from September 1956, she looks truly stunning in her original colour of Island Green. The MG has been fully professionally re-trimmed (seats and roof lining) and all her internal wood in excellent condition too. The bodywork presents extremely well with a small number of very minor imperfections which are very well illustrated in our detailed walk around video (of 20 minutes!). The chrome work is mainly very good too, the front and rear bumpers are replaced with new ones and its only really the side chrome trim strips and door handles which are showing their age (68 years!).

The engine bay is a lovely sight and the even the engine looks well in bright red!....the car is easily in showing condition just exactly how she is.

The MG Magnette is a superb classic car to own and the appearance of this particular car is certainly a cut above many examples that remain on the road today. The 'ZB' version certainly make the most of the almost 1600cc BMC B series engine, the ZB had more power than her predecessor and this was due to larger carbs (up from 1 1/4 inch twin SU's to HS4 1 1/2 inch twin SU's), the BHP rose up to 68 BHP (from 60 BHP) and this sporting saloon was known as one of the fastest production cars with this engine size of its time. The car feels truly great to drive and stops well too. The car is almost fully standard except for a conversion to run as negative earth using an alternator and this power far more powerful halogen bulbs. The engine bay looks really good too and thankfully retains the original air filter system and not a pair of 'pancake' chrome air filters which are often used in the place of the original air cleaning system.
