Description
MG GT
Converted and rebuilt from a bare shell in 2008 (see photo) using production RV8 steel panels, bumpers, lights and wheels, while retaining the reliable 1.8 B engine to create an attractive RV8 GT replica. This unique vehicle also features the battery located under the bonnet & aerial located on the roof at the rear plus an in-line servo, along with modified inner wings should you wish to fit a V8.
In addition there is the Porsche / Bosch headlights, cream leather seats, power steering, electronic ignition, uprated brakes using the MGOC kit consisting of RV8 calipers & vented discs, Coverdale Champagne carpets, twin electric cooling fans & a recent new radiator plus a full set of new hoses.
Heritage certificate 1974 Exempt from road tax & MOT’s
Owned by me since 2009, with a good service history and comprehensive documentation under my ownership. Reluctantly offered for sale due to age.
This is the model that Rover MG should have developed.
