1999 MG MGF

Purchased this as a 'great little runner' however the seller failed to mention that it overheats!

Suspected head gasket failure, will run and drive for loading purposes but overheats after a while, also an issue with reverse selection, doesn't always go in first time but will after a couple of attempts.

Invoice on file for having the head gasket, as well as cambelt & waterpump, thermostat, a full sercice, alternator and battery replaced in January 2023 @ 28,909 at a cost of £1,266 so I am surprised it has gone again (at least I suspect it has, I have not had it looked into).

Low mileage having only covered 32k from new so hopefully worth saving to someone.

Bodywork and paintwork is good overall however there is the odd age-related mark and some corrosion showing to the ends of the sills.

The interior is in decent condition with some wear showing to the driver's seat.

It is fitted with a hardtop which probably has some value of its own, but in a different shade to the car (grey).

MOT'd until March 2026

Comes with 3 keys, MG wallet with owners manual, some invoices/receipts for work done, printed heritage certificate, old MOT certificates.

Selling as a project/spares/repairs due to the above overheating/suspected head gasket failure, will need to be trailered away.
