It comes with an enormous amount of paperwork, In fact every repair and service invoice is there from when the vehicle was first registered and every MOT and restoration work that has been carried out over the years. It has been owned by the same gentleman for the last 25 years and has been used very little. It also has a Heritage certificate. The car has covered 80,191 miles which is genuine mileage and has been lovingly cared for and maintained. The bodywork is excellent with no rust! The underside of the car again is in great order, Having had replacement floor pans fitted some years ago. We have just had the MG MOT'd and it passed with no advisory's. (Although it is MOT exempt) so there are no safety issues to address. The vehicle also had a full engine rebuild some years back and is now able to run on unleaded petrol. The interior is lovely, and the car is totally original apart from the stereo and electric aerial and also a 3 spoke steering wheel. The hood has been replaced and is in perfect condition. It also comes with the hood and car covers. It runs and drives great and is superb fun to drive with a lovely exhaust tone. \nThese are hard to find now in this condition and especially with the documented history that this one has!\nValues are only going to go one way and this one is a keeper!\nOverall a lovely example that is ready to drive to the summer classic car shows!\nPlatform 1 Motor Co is located adjacent to the West Somerset Railway in Bishops Lydeard. Terms and Conditions:
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to all vehicle sales and related services provided by Platform 1 Motor Co, located at Unit H, Rexquote Business Park, Bishops Lydeard, TA4 3RU ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing a vehicle from us, the buyer ("you", "your", "customer") agrees to be bound by these Terms.
2. Vehicle Condition
2.1 All vehicles are sold as used and may show signs of normal wear and tear.
2.2 We strive to provide accurate descriptions, but it is the buyer’s responsibility to inspect and test-drive the vehicle prior to purchase.
2.3 Mileage is accurate to the best of our knowledge but not guaranteed unless stated otherwise in writing.
3. Sales and Deposits
3.1 A signed order and deposit secures the vehicle.
3.2 Deposits are non-refundable, unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by law.
3.3 The balance must be paid in full prior to the vehicle being released.
4. Payment
4.1 Payment can be made by bank transfer, credit/debit card or cash.
4.2 Title and ownership of the vehicle pass to the buyer only upon receipt of full cleared payment.
5. Warranties and Guarantees
5.1 Vehicles may include a limited dealer warranty, which will be clearly stated in the sales agreement.
5.2 Any warranty provided does not cover routine maintenance, wear and tear items (e.g., brakes, tires, bulbs), or damage caused by misuse, neglect, or subsequent modifications.
5.3 Warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval.
6. "Sold As Seen" Vehicles
6.1 Vehicles sold as “Sold As Seen” are excluded from any warranty or guarantee unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6.2 The buyer accepts the vehicle in its existing condition and is responsible for any future repairs or maintenance.
7. Vehicle History and HPI
7.1 We check each vehicle's history through [e.g., HPI or equivalent service] to ensure it is not subject to outstanding finance or recorded as stolen or written off. Any previous damage or insurance write-offs will be disclosed and documented at the time of sale.
7.2 A copy of the vehicle check can be provided upon request.
8. Returns and Refunds
8.1 Once a used vehicle has been collected or delivered, returns are not accepted unless required by consumer law.
8.2 In the rare event of a return, a deduction may be made for usage, wear and tear, or any damage incurred since delivery/collection.
9. Part Exchange
9.1 If a part exchange vehicle is included in the sale, it is based on the condition and market value of your vehicle.
9.2 If the condition of the part exchange is materially different upon inspection, or any undisclosed issues or history arise we reserve the right to revise the offer or cancel the deal.
10. Liability
10.1 We are not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage resulting from use of the vehicle after sale.
10.2 Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the vehicle.
