Selling my wife's much loved SLK that has sadly developed an issue with the lacquer on the bonnet and roof as you can see in the photos, so selling as a project car or spares/repairs although it does still have 6 months left on the MOT (expires 2nd March 2027) so fully road legal. The cost to respray coupled with the long list of MOT advisories have made this no longer commercially viable unless to a collector or car restorer. In the mean time someone could have a cheap classic convertible sports car for the rest of the summer! Rust has appeared in some of the usual spots but this is mostly cosmetic. Interior has suffered from the peeling 'textured' paint on the dash/console which has blighted all these SLKs. The aircon has stopped working but the folding roof works as it should so who needs AC! Two keys. Starts and runs fine, still goes like a stabbed rat and has a very nice exhaust note at idle. She's got too much left to give before being scrapped so please save her for at least 6 more months! Additional photos available on request. Collection in Old Town, Swindon.
