Here I have this 2003 Mercedes-Benz S class S500 for sale.

It is a well-maintained car in good condition for its age. The car works flawlessly with no error code whatsoever. This is the facelift model (2003 onwards) with much-improved quality and reliability.

All tyres are in good condition (front two are nearly new) and have a Bosch battery (still under warranty) fitted in April 2024. It has been well-maintained over the years and comes with a stash of invoices and a comprehensive service history. It has two key fobs (one fancy one).

MOT until mid Oct 2026). Lower road tax band.
Engine oil and usual filters were changed in March, and transmission oil/filter were changed in May 2025 (costing: £450).

The car has had only two previous owners and has 125,500 genuine miles. It might increase slightly.

Great engine and gearbox (no oil leak). It picks up gears silky smooth, and the engine has a beautiful sound. The car has no malfunctions.

The black interior aged very well. There are no tears and only minimal wear. It still feels upmarket and super comfortable. This is a short-wheelbase version which gives better manoeuvrability.

These cars are becoming rare and classic in many respects, making them the perfect choice if you appreciate a naturally aspirated V8 high-spec cruiser.

The car bodywork could use some improvement (there is rust on the wheel arches, some flaking, and age-related scruff). The corner of the front bumper has some scratches, and it has had paintwork done in the past. Also, all the doors had been replaced. In the near future, the engine mounts will also need attention, hence the generous price.

I am not interested in swaps as I have another car. No silly offers, please.
You will get a lot of cars for the money. It can be viewed and inspected in Rake GU33.

Please note that this is a 22-year-old car. It is not perfect by any means; however, the condition is reasonable and safe to use as it is. I had a flawless long trip (>1000 mi) not long ago without any issues!
