It is equipped with the bullet proof M113 5.0 V8 producing 306bhp. The CL is the grand touring 2 door coupe version of the luxurious range topping S-Class.

This exceptional example has covered a fully verified 45,380 miles supported with a vast and comprehensive documented service history from new. Originally supplied new to Japan in June 2000 it was subsequently imported into the UK in August 2017 at 51,930 KM's (32,267 miles). The car was auction Grade 4 and comes complete with a fully clear VX check which shows no accident damage, no contamination, no outstanding finance and fully verifies the mileage. The most recent service was carried out on the 21/05/2026 at 45,374 miles, this consisted of an engine service, replacement of the; aux belt, idler pulley and NSF ball joint, the AC was also re-gassed, now holding the correct 950g (it is like a freezer inside on the lowest setting). An MOT was also conducted resulting in a first time pass, further validating the quality of this example, as to be expected it drives fantastically well. Moreover the ABC suspension functions correctly with no issues and all the mod cons still work perfectly.

Aesthetically speaking it presents extremely well throughout, having spent the majority of its life in Japan the bodywork is completely free of corrosion which often plagued CL's of this era. It is in remarkable condition considering it's 26 years old, with just the odd mark and imperfection noticeable which is more than in keeping with a car of this age. Being very picky the wheels would benefit from a soft refurb (a new set of wheel nuts and centre caps are being fitted this week).

This car was factory optioned with an array extras; multi contour seats (fully electric, memory, heated and massaging), Bose surround sound, rear roller blind, alcantara head lining and a full anthracite exclusive leather interior. Naturally as a CL it comes with a plethora of standard equipment; multi zone auto climate control, auto lights, auto wipers, auto dipping mirrors, cruise control, electric mirrors, electric steering wheel adjustment, soft close windows, satnav, digital TV, voice control etc, the list goes on, an insane amount of equipment in a 26 year old car. The only modification is the Brabus Style 20 inch alloy wheels (shod in Pirelli tyres) which look exceptional against the white paint. We do have a set of original wheels should the next custodian prefer them.

Accompanying the car is all of its literature, owners manuals, spec sheet and 2 keys. In addition it has a folder full of paperwork including; its service history, various preventative maintenance receipts, full spec sheets and a fully clear HPI & VX report.
