As a result of our continued success, we are recruiting for Production Operatives with a background in Manufacturing or Production to join our team at Pollington.

So what's the mission?

You'll join a hands-on manufacturing team at the heart of producing our industry leading concrete drainage solutions, from large pipes to manholes. You'll build your skills using a range of tools, machinery, and lifting equipment, all while working closely with a supportive team around you.

This is a role where you can really make an impact. You'll play a key part in keeping production running smoothly, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency making sure we deliver the high standards we're known for.

You will work a 40 hour week, with 3 x 12hr shifts per week.

What are the mission-critical skills?

Proven and consistent ability to operate and monitor production machinery safely and efficiently

Experience setting up machines, adjusting parameters, and ensuring optimal performance

Ability to identify faults, troubleshoot issues, and escalate where necessary

Basic mechanical knowledge with the ability to carry out routine checks and minor maintenance

Understanding of production processes, machine cycles, and output optimisation

Experience completing start-up, shutdown, and changeover procedures

Ability to read and follow technical instructions, SOPs, and production specifications

Strong focus on quality control, ensuring products meet required standards

Accurate recording of production data, downtime, and performance metrics

Strong awareness and commitment to SHEQ standards

Ability to work to production targets and maintain efficiency in a fast-paced environment

Proactive approach to continuous improvement and waste reduction

Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required

Concrete manufacturing experience desirable

FLT licence desirable
