Description
Are you a passionate lighting professional looking for an exciting opportunity to travel while delivering high-quality technical lighting projects? A specialist technical solutions company, based in Rye, is seeking a Lighting Technical Lead to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of lighting installations worldwide. You’ll work closely with technical, warehouse, logistics, and procurement teams, ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standard.
What’s in it for you?
Starting salary of £35,000pa DOE
Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm (flexibility required for project-led overtime)
Office-based in Rye +global travel to support projects, including cruise ships and land-based venues
36 days holiday including bank holidays
Two-week Christmas shutdownThe Role
Oversee technical lighting phases from project initiation to completion
Manage small cross-functional teams to meet project milestones
Program and install lighting systems and software, ensuring functionality and scope compliance
Conduct testing of installed equipment and software to guarantee high-quality delivery
Coordinate with other teams to ensure alignment with strategic business and project goals
Experience xjnqpsq Required:
Knowledge of entertainment AV & lighting systems, including networked lighting distribution
Experience managing small teams and projects
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Confident in Microsoft Office and general IT
Full clean driving license and valid passport for global travel
Flexibility for travel, including nights, weekends, and extended workdays
