Tyre Fitter/Mechanic

Description

We’re looking for an experienced tyre fitter/mechanic to join our busy, family-run business in Glasgow. You will be working between our two branches - Yoker & Milngavie

No time wasters please. You must be reliable, have tyre fitting & basic mechanic experience - servicing/brake pads etc.

Must have full driving license & own vehicle

Day-to-day duties include:

Fitting car & van tyres
Puncture repairs
Wheel balancing
Checking customers’ tyres are safe and road legal
Advising customers when tyres need replaced
Keeping the garage clean, tidy and safe

Assisting mechanic with servicing and smaller vehicle repairs

Answering the phone/pricing of jobs and taking payments

Pay: £29,120 to £33,280 per year depending on experience
