🚗 Vehicle Technician

We are looking for a Vehicle Technician to join our busy team in our family run garage.

Working 4 days per week on a rota basis will allow you to have a long weekend off every second week and give you Family time.

Location: Tayport

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Hours: 37 hours per week | 4 days per week

Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop team.

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults

• Complete MOT preparation and related repairs where required

• Carry out vehicle inspections and routine checks

• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults

• Maintain accurate records of work completed

• Follow health & safety procedures and manufacturer standards

• Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Qualified or experienced as a Vehicle Technician

• Confident diagnosing and repairing vehicles

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Reliable, professional and hardworking

• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality

• Ideally qualified to NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent

• A full UK driving licence is essential
