We are a small, established independent garage based in New Barnet, serving a growing number of customers across all makes and models of cars and vans. Due to an increase in workload, we are urgently looking for a skilled and experienced vehicle technician to join our team.

- Electrical testing & fault finding

- Suspension and brake repairs

- General diagnostics and servicing

Who We're Looking For:

- At least 5 years of continuous experience in the motor trade

- Confident in cambelt and timing chain replacements

- Strong all-round knowledge of vehicle repair and diagnostics

- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team

- Committed to high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction

- Full UK Driving Licence required

- Must have basic tools (e.g. socket set, work light, etc.)

Please note: This role is *not suitable for those returning to the trade after a long break. We need someone up-to-date and hands-on from day one.*

* At least 5 years experience in the motor trade

* Confident with cambelt and timing chain replacements

Please note: This is a hands-on, workshop-based role that requires someone reliable, present, and able to carry out physical vehicle repair work safely and consistently. We need a technician who can commit to the role, manage a busy workload, and maintain good attendance and punctuality.

* £39,000 basic salary per year

* Realistic earnings of £45,000+ per year

How The Bonus Works:

Your basic salary is £39,000 per year.

On top of this, you earn £20 per hour for additional labour generated.

Example:

* 1 extra labour hour = £20 bonus

* 2 extra labour hours = £40 bonus

* 5 extra labour hours = £100 bonus

* 8 extra labour hours = £160 bonus

By producing extra labour hours, this typically results in approximately £500+ extra per month, taking realistic earnings to £45,000+ per year.
