Cars/vehicle Technician/Mechanic Required in Croydon

We are a garage with 8 and over working and We are seeking 2 candidates full/part time who are skilled Vehicle Technician/Mechanic/Electrician to join our professional team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and faults.
Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including engine work, brake repairs, suspension, and electrical diagnostics.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs efficiently.
Document all work carried out accurately in accordance with company procedures.
Test vehicles post-repair to ensure issues have been resolved and vehicles are safe to operate.
Maintain a clean, organised workspace, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair needs and vehicle status when required.

Requirements

Proven mechanical/ electrical knowledge with experience in vehicle repair or maintenance.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues and completing repairs.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant qualifications or certifications in automotive technology are desirable but not essential.
A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate vehicle collection and delivery if necessary. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to enhance their technical skills within the automotive industry while contributing to high standards of service delivery.

The salary will be from £27,000 to £50,000 per annum based on experience.
