An Excellent opportunity for an Experienced TIG Welder to join a well-established company based near Ilminster, Somerset!

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.

Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.

Location: Ilton, Ilminster, TA19.

Schedule: 7.30 – 4.30 Monday to Thursday and 7.30 – 1.30 on Friday.

About The Company:

Welding and fabrication a wide range of quality sheet metal products for a variety of sectors

Working as part of a small team, they now require an enthusiastic and skilled TIG welder/fabricator capable of working from engineering drawings. This interesting and varied role would require the successful applicant to produce finished components as both single items and in small batches.

Candidate Requirements:

Good communication and team working skills.
The ability to work with mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Capable of working to drawing tolerances.
Be able to dress finished surfaces to a high standard.
Due to our line of work MIG welding will be required where necessary
Able to work using your own initiative.

Working Hours:


40 hours week.
7.30 – 4.30 Monday to Thursday and 7.30 – 1.30 on Friday.
Overtime paid at time and a half.
