Excellent opportunity for an experienced Bollard & Barrier Engineer for a well-established company based in Manchester
Salary: £17.50 (34-hour week)
Location: Manchester, Field based across the UK
Benefits: Company van for daily field use (kept on-site overnight), tools provided, pension, expenses paid for overnight stays
The Company
They specialise in automated gates, bollards, barriers and access control systems across the commercial sector. Due to continued expansion, they’re seeking an experienced Bollard & Barriers Engineer to join their established team.
Job role
Working across retail, hospitality, education & local authority sites
Providing professional, customer-facing engineering support
Nationwide travel with occasional overnight stays (hotel & meals provided)
Servicing, repairing and maintaining automated gates, barriers, bollards & access control
Candidate requirements
Proven experience with automated gates, barriers, bollards & access control
Minimum 3 years’ mechanical/electrical engineering experience
Recognised electrical qualification (18th Edition preferred)
Strong diagnostic and customer-interaction skills
Full UK driving licence (required)
