The combination of the 1.5's high-revving nature and the car's phenomenal chassis + gearbox makes for one of the best drivers car packages you can get (especially for the money!). As well as being a fantastic car to drive, the MX-5 is also very affordable to run, insure and maintain, plus has a reputation for being super reliable. This particular car has been fitted with TEIN adjustable suspension, which is a huge bonus. The 1.5 didn't come with Bilstein suspension like the 2.0, so it benefits greatly from a suspension upgrade. The suspension fitted is fully adjustable, and is currently set to soft damping making it comfortable for everyday road use. A front strut brace is also fitted. The MOT advisory for rear suspension bushes has been sorted.
