This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Classic Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Sunday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT. , The 1996 Mazda RX-7 FD (FD3S) is the third and final generation of the RX-7, a highly sought-after Japanese sports coupe known for its lightweight chassis, near-perfect weight distribution, and unique twin-turbocharged rotary engine,The FD featured an aerodynamic, curvaceous body and a sophisticated double-wishbone suspension for superior handling. The compact, lightweight rotary engine allowed for a 50:50 weight distribution,Powered by a 1.3-litre twin-rotor Wankel rotary engine (13B-REW) offering 261 bhp, 217lb.ft and 0-60 in 5.1 seconds,Imported in 2004 and showing just two former registered UK keepers, this example is exceptionally well-presented, having recently been refinished in its original Silver Stone Metallic ,The interior of the car has not been modified in any way and is as it left the factory in 1996,The engine bay is impressive, almost showroom fresh and we understand the underside is also in excellent condition,Supplied fitted with a new set of wheels and tyres (originals included in the sale) ,Indicating just 73,807km (45,861 miles) and an MOT until October 2026 (with no advisories) ,
