Tate are working with an organisation that champions and protects significant places, supports thoughtful change, shares research and expertise, and works with communities, professionals and government to ensure the nation's heritage is understood, valued and cared for now and in the future.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Event Manager to provide strategic leadership and hands-on delivery support for a high-profile programme of corporate, stakeholder and engagement events. Reporting to the Director of Communications & Engagement, you will shape event objectives and audience approaches while ensuring every detail is planned and delivered to a consistently high standard.

What you'll do

Lead and coordinate a forward programme of events aligned with organisational priorities and key corporate moments.

Advise senior leaders on event opportunities, stakeholder engagement and audience strategy.

Deliver high-profile executive and stakeholder events from initial brief through to evaluation.

Manage plans, timelines, budgets, risks, procurement and supplier relationships.

Coordinate invitations, RSVPs, guest management, briefing materials and event logistics.

Oversee delivery on the day, bringing together internal teams and external partners.

Capture learning and evaluation to strengthen future events.

What you'll bring

Significant experience leading high-profile corporate, stakeholder or public affairs events.

A strong track record of developing event strategies and programmes as well as managing operational delivery.

Excellent project management, organisation and prioritisation skills.

Experience managing budgets, suppliers and procurement processes.

Confidence working with executives, commissioners, partners and government-facing audiences.

The ability to work independently, balance competing demands and deliver at pace.
