Workshop Supervisor – Panel Workshop
Location: Belvedere, London
Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:30pm
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our client’s established panel workshop in Belvedere. This role requires excellent attention to detail, solid knowledge of electrical principles, and a strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support workshop teams, including wiremen and apprentices.

Build and assemble control and PLC panels to specification.
*
Lay out and prepare back panels in line with technical requirements.
*
Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and circuit drawings.
*
Carry out wiring tasks, point-to-point checks, dead testing, and functional/live testing.
*
Review, complete, and sign off testing documentation.
*
Oversee preparation of panels for dispatch, delivery, and collection.
*
Liaise with directors and office colleagues to ensure smooth workflow.
*
Maintain workshop organisation, standards, and housekeeping.
*
Monitor and enforce Health & Safety compliance within the workshop.
*
Manage stock levels, including routine checks, annual audits, and ordering requirements.
