Description
Workshop Assistant
We are currently looking for a Workshop Assistant to join a busy manufacturing company based in New Milton.
Training provided – a fantastic chance to learn and develop your skills!
Introduction
This will be a varied role and an excellent opportunity to gain experience across an array of manufacturing processes and support across the site.
Responsibilities – Once Trained
Sheet Metal Fabrication tasks Pressure Testing and Degreasing Fitting tasks Maintenance & Repair work Tooling Management Extruding Deliveries to suppliers and customers when needed. Assisting Shopfloor Supervisor when needed Supporting Apprentices and Work Experience students Ensure Process and Procedures are followed at all times Comply with all Health & Safety legislation and guidance
Ideal Experience:
A good knowledge of internal processes and procedures Flexible and adaptable to change Self–motivated and driven Able to work as a team and independently Good IT skills Driving License – essential Salary

Days with a lunchtime finish on Fridays
