Location: Leicestershire

Shift: 8:00am to 4:30pm Mon to Fri

Salary: 15.00 to 15.50 per hour

About the Company:

Our client is a leading joinery company specialising in bespoke commercial furniture solutions. Their commitment to craftsmanship, quality, and timely delivery has made them a trusted partner for businesses across multiple sectors.

About the Role:

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking a hands–on Warehouse Supervisor to join the team and ensure the warehouse operations run efficiently and safely. The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee the day–to–day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the safe handling, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished furniture products. This role requires strong organisational skills, leadership experience, and a hands–on approach to maintaining a high standard of operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate warehouse staff, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and adherence to safety protocols.

Manage the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished goods.

Oversee stock control, inventory management, and regular stock audits.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including safe handling of materials.

Operate and oversee the use of warehouse machinery, including forklifts and other lifting equipment.

Maintain accurate records of stock movements, deliveries, and returns.

Liaise with production, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Train and develop warehouse staff, promoting a culture of safety and efficiency.

About You:

Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence is essential.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organisational and planning abilities.

Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
