Warehouse Operative Required! – Temp to Perm contract.

Our client is a family–owned business, trading for over 30 years they are a leading manufacturer and distributor of windows and door hardware.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join their team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for picking and packing products ready for dispatch, and any other miscellaneous tasks on a temp to perm contract.

Picking and packing of customer sales ordersLabelling of customer ordersPaint mixing machine use and maintenance (after training)Warehouse stock replenishmentParticipating in stocktakes and rolling stock checksAssisting with goods–InManual handling. Some heavy lifting involvedLoading & unloading deliveriesWorking as part of a teamGeneral housekeepingWarehouse Operative – Requirements:

Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environmentAbility to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Forklift license is advantageous
