Job Title: Trainee Mechanical Fitter

Location: Eastleigh

Pay Rate: GBP13.50 – GBP15.00 per hour (PAYE)

Temp to perm Monday to Friday

We are currently seeking Trainee Mechanical Fitters to join a busy and growing manufacturing company based in Eastleigh. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable hands–on experience in a supportive environment with the potential for long–term work.

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in the mechanical fitting of various productsLearning to work from engineering drawingsUsing hand tools and equipment safelySupporting the team in meeting tight tolerances and quality standardsRequirements:

Some basic mechanical knowledge or relevant qualifications (e.g., college course, apprenticeship, or hands–on experience)(example) HNC / HND / NVQ / City and guilds / BTEC MechanicalWillingness to learn and develop mechanical fitting skillsAbility to follow instructions and work as part of a teamA good work ethic and attention to detailAdditional Information:
