About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of one of the UK's leading production companies based in Southend–on–Sea. We are looking for a Trainee Machine Operator with a hands–on production or machine background to join a busy, high–volume night shift team. Full role–specific training will be provided, but you must be able to hit the ground running with your existing experience.

Your Duties Will Include:

Operating and monitoring production machinery in a fast–paced manufacturing environmentSetting up, loading and unloading machines ready for each production runCarrying out basic machine checks and routine maintenance tasksInspecting finished output to ensure it meets quality and specification standardsReporting any faults, stoppages or quality issues to your supervisor promptlyKeeping your work area clean, tidy and compliant with health & safety guidelinesSupporting the wider production team to hit output targets and deadlines What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a production, manufacturing or machine operating role is essentialConfident working with and around industrial machineryGood attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and outputAbility to work at pace and stay focused throughout a night shiftReliable, punctual and a strong team playerGood communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately What's on Offer:
