Orion are working with a heavy industrial manufacturing company based in Worcester who are looking for a highly experienced, senior Tool Maker to join the team.

Tool Maker Package:

Competitive Salary GBP40,645.8026 days holiday Bank HolidaysPM Shift allowance 16% (GBP2,640 per annum)Annual attendance allowance of GBP1000 which is paid monthly in instalmentsDeath in servicePension contribution

Tool Maker Shifts:

Double Day Shift: 6am 2pm & 2pm 10pm

Tool Maker Responsibilities:

Working closely with a team of 2x Tool MakersMaintaining CNC & die casting machinery Or similar industrial equipmentSupporting productionContinuous improvement in toolingMaintenance and production of fixturesFault finding in compact machinery and spacesWorking into senior management to help with the running of the tool room

Tool Maker Required Experience:

Manual Turning, Milling, Grinding, Bench FittingStripping/Assembling of dies and trimtoolsMaintenance of CNC and die casting machinery or similar equipmentPrevious experience working in a tool room environmentExperience leading a teamStrong communication skills requiredProblem solving

Tool Maker Qualifications:

Apprentice trained ideally or time servedTool making manual machining skillset/background
