Source and procure technical materials and services to meet project requirements.Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with suppliers.Ensure timely delivery of materials and services to support business operations.Monitor and manage supplier performance to ensure quality and compliance.Analyse market trends to identify cost–saving opportunities.Collaborate with internal teams to understand procurement needs and specifications.Maintain accurate records of purchases and supplier details.Profile

A successful Technical Buyer should have:

Proven experience in procurement or supply chain.Strong understanding of sourcing technical materials and services.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Proficiency in procurement systems and tools.Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.Attention to detail and organisational skills.Previous experience as a project buyer.Job Offer

Hourly pay between 21.00 and 27.00.Opportunity to work in a medium–sized organisation in St Albans.Temporary role providing valuable hands on experience.
