The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly organised Technical Service Coordinator to join a growing and well–established engineering business specialising in hazardous materials storage and safety solutions.

This role will play a key part in coordinating service, maintenance and installation activities across the UK, ensuring engineers, customers and suppliers are aligned to deliver projects and service work efficiently and on schedule.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will work closely with clients, service engineers and internal departments to manage workloads, maintain accurate records and ensure excellent customer service throughout the project lifecycle.

Full training will be provided on the company's products, systems and industry standards.

This role would suit an organised and proactive individual with strong communication skills and a technical mindset. Applications are welcomed from experienced coordinators, graduates or college leavers looking to develop a long–term career within a technical engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate service, maintenance and installation activities across multiple customer sitesSchedule engineers and manage workloads to ensure service commitments are delivered on timeAct as a key point of contact for customers, responding to enquiries and providing project updatesMaintain accurate service records, schedules and project documentationTrack project progress and ensure all activities are completed within agreed timescalesUse Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics 365 to manage service schedules, customer information and project dataLiaise with engineers, suppliers and customers to coordinate resources and site requirementsSupport the preparation of quotations, reports and service documentationMonitor outstanding actions and ensure timely completion of maintenance and service activitiesAssist with continuous improvement of service processes and administrative systemsSupport the wider team with project coordination and operational activities as requiredWhat We Need From You

Essential:

Mechanical Engineering degree or equivilant

Strong organisational and planning skillsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalConfident dealing with customers, engineers and internal stakeholdersGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work independently and as part of a small, fast–paced teamPositive attitude and willingness to learnDesirable:

Previous experience in a service coordination, project coordination, scheduling or administrative roleExperience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar ERP/CRM systemsTechnical, engineering or construction industry exposureExperience coordinating field–based engineers or maintenance teamsEngineering qualification, college course or technical education backgroundUnderstanding of service, maintenance or project delivery environmentsWhat We Offer
