STORES PERSON REQUIRED IN TELFORD, SHROPSHIRE!!!

Do you have previous Stores Person, Stock Controller or Inventory Controller experience?

We are looking for a Stores Person for a leading manufacturing business in Telford (Shropshire), this role is working a day shift pattern Monday to Friday and the job comes with a starting hourly rate of up to £14.00 per hour (DOE).

You will be predominantly working within the Stores area of the business, and whilst the majority of your day will involve stores duties, you will also be required to help out in production and operate machinery.

The hiring manager is looking for someone who has a Counterbalance forklift license that has been refreshed within the last 5 years, but driving a Counterbalance forklift truck will be minimal compared to other day to day tasks.

You MUST hold a valid UK Driving License.

What You Will Do:

Booking stock in and out of the warehouse on the computer system

Load and unload vans as or when they come into the factory.

Keep the shop floor, stores, and work-in-progress areas clean, safe, and organised.

Help the guys in production and operate machinery to cut materials down to specifications and size.

Occasional use of the Counterbalance forklift truck.

What You Will Bring:

A current Counterbalance Forklift Licence refreshed within the last 5 years.

Proficiency in using a PC and understanding of manufacturing environments.

A proactive and reliable approach to work.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
