Are you an experienced CNC Operator looking for a stable, permanent position with excellent working hours?

We are currently recruiting for a Senior CNC Operator to join a well–established engineering and manufacturing business based in Cranbrook.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC professional who is confident working independently, takes pride in producing high–quality components and is looking to develop their career within a supportive manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

Setting and operating CNC machinery. Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. Setting tools, offsets and machine parameters. Producing components to precise tolerances and specifications. Carrying out in–process and final quality inspections. Using a range of precision measuring equipment. Identifying and resolving machining and production issues. Ensuring production targets and quality standards are achieved. Supporting and mentoring less experienced CNC operators where required. Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workshop. Following all company health & safety and quality procedures. Requirements:

Previous experience as a CNC Operator/Setter. Experience with FANUC is a must Strong knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes. The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings. Experience working to tight tolerances. Good knowledge of tooling, offsets and machine settings and solidworks.
