Role Overview

We are seeking a detail–oriented and safety–conscious Semi Skilled Operator to join our high–precision manufacturing team. In this hands–on role, you will be responsible for manually removing lugs and burrs from thin–gauge sheet metal components to meet strict quality and close–tolerance specifications.

Key ResponsibilitiesDe–lug and deburr metal components using hand tools, files, orbital sanders, and fly presses.Work predominantly with thin–gauge aluminium ( 90% of workload) requiring careful handling to preserve finish and integrity.Perform close–tolerance, high–quality finishing work in accordance with engineering drawings and written work instructions.Strictly adhere to site safety protocols and actively participate in maintaining established 5S workplace organisation standards.Key Requirements & SkillsProven track record in manual deburring and metal finishing within a manufacturing or engineering environment.Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and process sheets.Hands–on experience operating fly presses, pneumatic/orbital sanders, hand files, and manual finishing tools.Exceptional attention to detail with experience working to tight tolerances and high aesthetic/functional standards.Strong commitment to workplace health & safety, cleanliness (5S), and team–oriented production goals.For further details, contact Lindsay on (phone number removed) quoting Ref Nu: 81771
