Pay: GBP16.49ph

Hours of work: day shift Mon – Thur 07:00–16:00 Fri 07:30–12:30

Job Type: Full–time, Permanent

AMLR are looking for an Assember looking to join a leading aerospace manufacturer? This is an exciting opportunity to work within a precision engineering environment.

Key responsibilities for Semi Skilled Assembly Operative:

To carry out assembly of aircraft components to customer defined specification and standard.

Requirements for Semi Skilled Assembly Operative:

Ability to work on assembly of new parts with solid rivets using hand & air riveting tools & other equipment for the purpose required. Visual inspection of completed products Full knowledge and experience of using Vernier s and other specialist measuring tools Experience of working to adjust sheet metal parts for assembly Current experience of the use of air tools i.e. drills / rivet press / rivet guns Experience of using sealants Engineering background ideally in aerospace industry Experience of reading, interpreting engineering drawings and specifications Experience of working with a number of different materials and finishes Attention to detail Problem solving skills Utilising a range of hand tools Finish precision engineering products Please Note: You will need to be a UK resident holding a British Passport
