Location: South Kirkby, West Yorkshire

Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Salary: Up to £35,000 per year (DOE)

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm (40 hours per week)

A well-established food manufacturing business specialising in slicing, dicing, and packaging lamb and beef products for major UK meal kit providers.

Note: This site is not an abattoir.

Role Overview

We are seeking a bright, enthusiastic, and experienced Raw Materials Planner to join the Planning team based in South Kirkby.

This role is ideal for someone with strong planning experience who is eager to develop their career and contribute to a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the raw materials planning function

Order proteins (fresh and frozen raw materials)

Process increases and decreases in requirements in a timely manner

Identify and communicate supply issues relating to beef and pork

Coordinate beef blast for pressure dicing

Coordinate dicing plans

Calculate beef and pork requirements for backload returns

Monitor short shelf life stock daily

Confirm receipt of purchase orders with suppliers

Book frozen stock into local storage facilities

Liaise with customers to understand requirements

Provide holiday cover and team support when required

Ensure supply of beef/pork xjnqpsq for samples

Undertake additional reasonable duties as requested by management

Candidate Requirements

Essential

Minimum 1 year experience in Raw Materials Planning

Preferred

Administration experience
