Reporting and Communication
* Produce and publish weekly and monthly quality reports.
* Analyse key quality trends, recurring defects, customer complaints, and site performance.
* Provide clear updates to management on quality issues, actions, and overall performance.
* Chair the bi-weekly site quality meetings and ensure actions are recorded and followed up.
Standardisation and Continuous Improvement
* Drive a consistent approach to quality processes, reporting, and problem solving across both sites.
* Support the development and improvement of quality procedures, controls, and documentation.
* Lead the development, documentation, implementation and ongoing ownership of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all areas of the business, ensuring consistency, compliance and operational efficiency.
* Work closely with production, purchasing, and leadership teams to reduce defects and improve quality performance.
Key Skills and Experience
* Experience in a quality role within a manufacturing environment, ideally furniture manufacturing.
* Strong understanding of quality control, non-conformance management, and root cause analysis.
* Experience managing customer complaints and supplier quality issues.
* Confident in producing quality reports and presenting findings clearly.
* Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
* Effective communicator with the ability to work across departments and sites.
* Able to lead meetings, drive actions, and maintain accountability.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
