Quality Manager
Salary: 50,000 to 65,000 p.a. depending on experience
Location: Southend–on–Sea
Hours: 37 hrs/wk (Monday to Thursday, Fridays off!)
An established Aerospace Precision Engineering manufacturer seeks an experienced Quality Manager to lead their Quality & Inspection department with full operational autonomy and leadership responsibility.

Manage and maintain the AS9100 QMSLead and mentor the Inspection teamCreate/approve FAIR/LAIR documentation using VisualFAIRConduct internal/external AS9100 auditsAct as Approved Signatory for product releaseOversee calibration and qualification processesDrive zero–defect/continuous improvement initiatives and serve as primary contact for customer quality matters.Requirements:
Proven aerospace sector experience (essential)Strong working knowledge of AS9100/ISO9100Hands–on FAIR/LAIR experienceProven leadership/supervisory background in inspection/qualityQualified auditorAbility to interpret complex engineering drawings
