Job Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Leicestershire, LE67

Shift: Monday – Friday, 8am – 16:30pm (flexibility & overtime may be required)

Salary: Up to 38,000 per annum + annual bonus

A well–established, family–run business specialising in the manufacturing of heavy equipment, supplying products and services to clients across the UK and internationally. With a strong reputation for quality and reliability, we are continuing to invest and grow. As part of this growth, we are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join our team.

The Role:

We're looking for a reliable Quality Inspector to join a busy and growing manufacturing team, working in a precision machining and metal fabrication environment.

This is a hands–on, physical position where quality, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect machined components using Faro Quantum M4.0 7 Axis Arm and FAROBlu HD LLP.Use Faro CAM2 software to produce detailed inspection reports.Conduct goods–in, first–off, and in–process inspections.Identify deviations and raise non–conformance reports.Calibrate measuring equipment in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.Maintain full traceability of inspections and collaborate closely with Design teams on manufacturability.

About You:

Essential:

Proficient in Faro Arm, CAM2 software, and standard measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, thread gauges, etc.).Strong ability to read and interpret metric and imperial engineering drawings.Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills.Desirable:

Previous experience in engineering or heavy industry.Knowledge of geometric tolerancing, CAD models, and ISO 9001:2015.Overhead crane competency and strong problem–solving ability.
