Description
Quality Inspector - Welding & Assembly
Location: Groby, LE6
Rate: £14.60/hr | Hours: 37.5/week, 8:00 AM start | Contract: 3-6 months (potential temp to perm)
We're seeking a detail-focused Quality Inspector to join our production team. You'll perform final inspections, ensure products meet customer specifications, investigate defects, and liaise with operators and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform quality control and final inspection of products in line with customer specifications.
Investigate and rectify any identified deficiencies to the required standard.
Liaise effectively with operators, line leaders, and engineers.
Report and escalate quality issues where necessary.
Support other quality-related activities as required.
Desirable Attributes:
Technical qualification (HNC/HND) or practical experience in quality assurance, inspection, welding, soldering, assembly, or testing.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Experience working with microscopes for detailed inspections is a plus.
Strong attention to detail.
Technical mindset.
