The Role

As a Quality Inspector Lead, you'll lead the quality assurance and inspection functions across multiple sites. Managing a team of Quality Inspectors, you'll oversee inspection processes, ensure ISO compliance, and maintain exceptional quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead inspection of precision components using CMM and other metrology equipmentManage daily operations within the Quality Department and inspection teamValidate inspection reports and maintain traceable documentationMaintain calibration systems and ensure compliance with ISO and internal standardsAnalyse quality data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiativesMust be able to commute to Leicestershire site, couple of times a month, mileage will be claimed back.

About You:

Experience in precision engineering or manufacturing quality managementStrong knowledge of inspection processes and CMM operationAbility to interpret engineering drawings and geometric tolerancing (GD&T)Excellent attention to detail and structured approach to workTeam player with strong communication and leadership skills

Licences / Certifications (desirable):

ISO / Quality management trainingCE / UKCA compliance training (or willingness to complete)
