Description

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail–oriented Goods Inward Quality Inspector to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about product quality, enjoys problem–solving and takes pride in ensuring products meet the highest standards before entering production.

Working closely with Quality & Engineering, you will play a key role in inspecting incoming materials, components and finished goods, ensuring compliance with specifications, customer requirements and industry standards.

Key duties:

Carrying out goods inward inspections on components, materials and finished products. Performing dimensional inspections using a range of measuring and testing equipment. Identifying, recording and managing non–conforming products. Segregating defective materials and maintaining accurate non–conformance reports. Supporting investigations into quality issues and assisting with root cause analysis. Assessing incoming products and identifying any risks to quality or performance. Maintaining accurate quality records and inspection documentation. Monitoring and maintaining inspection equipment, ensuring calibration requirements are met. Following quality procedures and Health & Safety requirements at all times. Experience required:

Previous experience in a Quality Inspection, Goods Inward Inspection, or Quality Assurance role within an engineering or manufacturing environment. Experience using a variety of measuring and testing equipment. Strong attention to detail and excellent record–keeping skills. Ability to identify quality concerns and support problem–solving activities. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems This role is Monday–Friday, 40 hours a week.
