Quality Engineer opportunity available with a sub contract engineering company in Gloucester, GL3, paying c 40,000, working straight days

As a result of a healthy order book our client is looking for an additional Quality Engineer to join their team. Supporting customers across a broad range of industries such as aerospace and oil and gas to name but two, they have a built a reputation with their customers for providing high quality products.

As Quality Engineer for our client your role will involve the following:

perform all 1st off inspectionscarry out First Article Inspection Reportshave experience of using CMM alongside conventional measuring equipmentcarry out in–process inspection alongside final inspectionliaise with customers with any issues that need resolvingbe responsible for quality assurancehave a good understanding of aerospace procedures and quality issueshave a general knowledge of common plating processescalibrate all measuring equipmentuse MRP system on a daily basiscarry out all corrective actionsorganise all necessary paperwork for dispatch

For your application for the role of Quality Engineer to be successful you will need the following:

recognised relevant qualification or time served apprenticeshipexcellent problem solving skills with the ability to innovatestrong working experience gained with manufacturing/engineeringexcellent verbal and written communication skills strong team player with the ability to work unsupervised

Working hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30 – 4:00 Friday 7:30 – 3:00 with paid overtime available

Holiday entitlement: 33 days including bank holidays
